Penstocks, Sluice Gates, Channel Gates, Weirs and Hand Stops

PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
While our standard sluice gates are manufactured from stainless steel and duplex materials, light duty units are available in a combination of stainless steel, duplex steel and engineering plastics.
The construction materials we use allow for a sufficient margin of safety and minimum deflection. In general, the door deflection allowed is less than 2mm. No metal to metal contact is applied and doors move between HDPE wear liners and the seals.
The seal arrangements we specify are suitable for waste water applications.

LEAKAGE RATES
The standard leakage rates of sluice gates and penstocks manufactured by our team, are superior to the rates specified by AWWA C561. Should you require specific leakage rates, we are able to design, manufacture and supply your units accordingly.

OPERATING OPTIONS
From hand wheel operated, to hand wheel via gearbox, electrically actuated and air actuated – we customise your sluice gates and penstocks to suit your needs.

ADDITIONAL WATER AND SEWAGE FLOW CONTROL EQUIPMENT
In addition to our sluice gates and penstocks, we also assist in the design and manufacture of complete range of water and sewage flow control equipment, which includes:
Channel Gates | Tilting Weirs | Stop Logs | Hand Stops | Diverter Gates.
