Additional Side Camera for ROV 📹🌊

When operating in areas with strong currents, the ROV must be positioned parallel to the flow to maintain stability and control its movement. In such conditions, the main camera located at the front of the vehicle may not always provide a clear view of the inspected surface.

The side camera solves this problem by providing an additional real-time viewing angle, allowing operators to closely monitor the structure while moving along it.

It is particularly useful for inspecting bridge piers, hydraulic structures, docks, and other underwater constructions where visibility of side surfaces and hard-to-reach areas is essential.

Underwater Inspection of a Tanker with the SmartDive ROV 🌊

During the inspection, the ROV performed a comprehensive survey of the vessel’s underwater hull, including:

• rudder blade with telemetry;
