RESCO President and CEO Matt Brandrup (right) addresses the audience during a breakout panel session earlier this week at Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC) Forum 2026 in Chula Vista, CA.

Held June 15-17 at the Ga***rd Pacific Resort, the annual flagship event for CFC, the Forum brings together cooperative leaders, financial experts, and industry innovators for three days of dynamic speakers, strategic sessions, and unmatched networking opportunities.

Matt shared his perspectives and knowledge on how the RESCO and the industry is navigating challenges in our national and global supply chain during the “Supply Cooperatives in Transition: Tracking Costs, Lead Times and the New Realities of the Utility Supply Chain” session, where he was joined by fellow panelist Chad Capps, CEO of CEEUS, Inc.; presenter Sam Kem, senior economic research analyst, CFC; and moderator Buddy Hasten, president & CEO, Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation and Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas.

Also representing RESCO at the event was Jeff Kuhnle, vice president of administration and CFO.

The RESCO Grill made its way to Garrison, ND yesterday, where Brian Kelly (right), North Dakota account manager, and Jacob Edland, sales engineer of our EUSCO division, showcased their culinary skills by cooking burgers and hot dogs for individuals attending the McLean Electric Cooperative, Inc. 81st Annual Meeting.

Did you know that a member of the RESCO team competes professionally in the American Co****le League—and whose two-man team happened to finish second overall at a recent national tournament?

Collin Powers, a purchasing agent in our Middleton, WI facility, along with his teammate Richard Nyberg from California, advanced through nine matches on their way to competing in the championship match of the 2026 Fort Worth Signature Open at the Will Rogers Memorial Center & Facilities in Fort Worth, TX on June 7, which was broadcast on ESPN+ and ESPN2 (playback).

The event was the fifth of six national events that Collin has participated in this season. The tournaments are used to obtain “points” for ranking individuals; he and his teammate are currently ranked third overall in the league.

Congratulations to Collin on this amazing achievement!

As a cooperative ourselves, RESCO is a strong supporter of the cooperative principles and the many dedicated individuals who are part of the teams at electric cooperatives throughout the Upper Midwest, Northern Plains, and nationwide.

This support transcends beyond the daily interactions our team has with our valued members and customers. We’re very pleased and grateful for the opportunity to support various causes and missions that our members and industry organizations are involved in.

Recently, the RESCO Board of Directors approved donations for the following:

• For the third consecutive year, we’re making a donation to the Cooperative Family Fund, which provides support for children of electric cooperative employees when they experience the loss of a parent while actively employed at a cooperative.

• North Dakota’s first sponsored NRECA International Electrification Project trip, whereby lineworkers from 10 North Dakota cooperatives and one Montana cooperative will travel to Guatemala this fall to construct an electric distribution system in an area that currently has no central station electricity.

We thank our members and industry organizations for their commitment to these worthwhile causes and for the opportunity to support them.

Nick Fallow, RESCO’s IT software and customer solutions manager, conducted an in-depth discussion and overview of our RESCO Connect inventory management solution during a special user group session in West Des Moines, IA earlier this week.

Free to RESCO members, RESCO Connect provides utilities with all the tools to efficiently and effectively manage their warehouse and inventory processes through desktop and handheld devices. The application is fully scalable to meet a utility’s specific needs, from a valuable inquiry tool through barcoding and real-time integration with NISC iVUE® ERP and other ERP software providers.
