Ready to Ship.

Texas Blasters are always in stock and ready to ship. Unless they are not. April has been a busy month (thank you customers!) and more units are needed as this last tank is leaving the dock today. Good thing there are 75 more tanks on the other side of this wall. If you look closely to the right of the air compressor, you can see the tan fabric tank bag sticking around the corner. Looks like it will be a busy weekend pressurizing, labeling, boxing, and strapping units to be ready for shipment on Monday.

Texas Blasters are not only for work, they are for creating art, and saving the planet.

Sand blasting hearts onto a broken pallet was completed way back in February. In honor of Earth Day, I took the blasted pallet hearts, cut them into squares, and created a rustic planter. Had the hearts been blasted top to bottom instead of side by side, the pallet could have been created into a pen caddy. Lots of options. Lots of love. Happy Earth Day!

Texas Blaster Services takes in blasting jobs in varied states of corrosion and restoration needs. Our upcoming job is a new material surface (cast iron) with 20+ years of paint and rust to remove. Can't wait to see the final result.

Texas Blaster Personal Use

Over the last year, Texas Blaster has been uploading images of our personal 2005 F350 cab being sand blasted using the same 24CFM gas compressor, 1/8" nozzle, and 40/80 grit sand we have always used on all our other projects . The next phase of posts will showcase framework support parts.

Today's video shows the fuel tank guard being blasted to white clean in less than five minutes and is a perfect example of the absolute mess the framework is from salty air and grimy driving conditions after 20 years.

Texas Blaster customers ask us all the time if we use our own unit. Yes, all the time! Our current project is the restoration of a 2005 F350. Having stripp...

Who said blasting had to be work.

When you purchase a Texas Blaster unit, you are now in possession of a most useful tool. You can remove calcium buildup on pools, restore log homes to their original beauty, and create art. Last week, Texas Blaster customized reusable water bottles in honor of the first day of Spring. Took longer to prep the work surface than it did to create the art.

Now that is a beautifully useful tool!

Texas Blaster customer loyalty runs long and deep. Here is a picture of one purchased more than 40 years old back when they were blue and only sold at swap meets. This unit's original owner still uses it regularly with only having replaced nozzles as needed.

Why buy a Texas Blaster Off-Road unit?

Stability: knowing it pulls 150 lbs of media with ease.
Reliablity: knowing it works everytime, all the time.
Functionality: knowing it will blast a rusty frame to white clean.

Personal Use.

Texas Blaster units handle all kinds of media. Over the years we personally have used coal slag, crushed glass, green diamond, sand, and walnut shells depending upon the job at hand. Today's media of choice is sugar sand (120 grit) at only 40PSI.

Texas Blasters are not only for work, they are for creating art. Sand blasting hearts onto a broken pallet runner for a bright, vibrant etching. Projected was completed using a 24 CFM compressor at 90 PSI, an 1/8" blast nozzle with 40-80 grit blast sand, and duck tape for heart masking.
