Two weeks ago, the Washington State University chapter of Engineers in Action was honored to receive the VCEA Dean’s Outstanding Club Award at the Voiland Student Excellence Awards.

We’re incredibly grateful to be recognized alongside so many inspiring students. This award recognizes the dedication our team has put in over the past few years to rebuild the club and have a meaningful impact, both in our local community and through our international work.

Thank you to the WSU Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture for hosting this event, and to Dean Partha Pande for recognizing our club. We also want to extend a huge thank you to our advisors, Nandita Biswas and Jonathan Steffens, for their continued guidance and support.

EIA Officer Elections are coming up!

Elections will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at 5:10 PM in CUE 209! If you’re interested in getting more involved next year (Fall 2026 - Spring 2027), we encourage you to run! No prior experience is required.

Being an officer is a great opportunity to build your resume, gain hands-on engineering experience, lead projects and fundraising efforts, and potentially travel abroad for international projects in the summer. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved, this is a great way to do it.

The WSU Chapter of Engineers in Action is partnering with HundredX for a survey fundraiser campaign!

HundredX makes fundraising simple and impactful! By completing quick surveys—just 60–90 seconds each—on brands you already know and use, you can help us make a real difference. Every survey earns $1.60 for our chapter, and you can raise up to $120 by completing 75 surveys. Plus, you can do up to 25 surveys per day, making it easy to contribute and see your impact add up.

On President's Day, student volunteers from the WSU Chapter of EIA came together to install an awning frame at the ! This project, in the works since 2025, was our club’s largest local build yet. The Moscow Disability Action Center awning project gave everyone a fantastic, hands-on opportunity to experience the engineering design process from start to finish.

To everyone who supported us along the way, your commitment, teamwork, skills, and insight made this build possible. Thank you for helping us make an impact through the Moscow Disability Action Center awning project!
