Hopefully you've seen my posts about the upcoming 4-inch Ball Valve that will replace blast gates in dust collection systems. When I demonstrated the prototype motor controller at IWF in Atlanta in August, people were absolutely blown away! And Fine Woodworking Magazine said it was one of the coolest things they saw at the show.
This is the current sensor that will detect when equipment such as a table saw or router table or jointer is turned on. The prototype I showed at the IWF was a basic little cube and someone asked me why it looked like that (it was because that was the smallest package possible), which made me reconsider its design. So after many, many iterations I came up with this more aesthetic little package (it's about the size of a key fob).
That last image is a screenshot of the sensor development folder. I'm definitely sweating the details. Stay tuned.
