⚠️⚠️⚠️ Product Recall Follow Up Notice - Trojan Trailer Electric Park Leg Stand ⚠️⚠️⚠️
As you may be aware, in December 2020 Trojan Australia issued a Product Safety recall for the return of an Electric Park Leg which contains low levels of asbestos in an internal gasket.
The Electric Park Leg is used to support heavy duty trailers in a limited number of specialised applications such as fifth-wheel recreational vehicles, large horse floats with accommodation and similar low-volume situations.
This product was sold between 1 April 2009-1 May 2020 through Supercheap Auto, Repco and other automotive suppliers.
Anyone with this product should be aware of the following:
- You may continue to operate and use the Parking leg as normal until a remedy is available.
- You must not disassemble or open the casing.
- You should be aware that improper disposal of materials containing asbestos is an offence.
