I'm proud to share with everyone that I've made my first sale tonight and am absolutely ecstatic about it! This particular sale comes with a pretty neat story if I do say so myself.
My good friend Dylan Pringle, inherited a gig from his great grandpa a few years back. Turns out said gig was made by my grandpa Paul Martin sometime around the 70's. Neither of us is sure how dylans great grandpa came to own said gig. When he heard that I started making gigs he immediately reached out and asked me to make him one to go with it. Now has 2 generations of Martin gigs.
Its a truly surreal thing for me to make him my first sale. Mostly because of the history that goes along with the sale. (This Particular gig was not perfect) I know that. He knew that. But he loved it anyway.

Decided to see how well the new set up would draw. Did really well made a set of tongs whike I was at it. Hopefully by the end of February the shop will be in full swing! Still have some things to tweak here and there with the forge and setting up all the tools but we're getting closer.

New pics coming soon! Got the pipe through the ceiling for the forge! Dont sound like much to some but is progress to me! I want to give a huge shout out to James Gleason, without him none of this would be possible! Thank you again uncle Jim!

Slowly starting to come together. Should be making smoke in a couple more weeks! Still need to get a couple pieces of stove pipe and a roof boot for the pipe to stop leaks. Very ready to start lol.

First attempt at the fish hook from Moana. Missed a few small details though.
