Today is a great day. In mid February my business partner Eric Weigel and I committed to creating a Scholarship for our late friend Dustin Kadlec. With the permission and help from Linda Weltzin Kadlec the idea turned into a reality, and with overwhelming support we decided to partner with Winona State to create a scholarship. However, before I am just going to let the college take over, as promised I am announcing a winner on 5/2. The winner of this award lost his sister in a car accident. He used that incident as motivation to become to best person he could be, treating every day like an opportunity. With the support of the Kadlec Family, I would like to announce Logan Reddick as the 2016 recipient of the Dustin L. Kadlec Biggest Heart Award, making good on a promise that Dustin will never be forgotten.
