Dunn Sr., who is the CEO and Chief Engineer, and Jeneen D. Dunn, who serves as the CFO and Project Manager. We are based in Williamsburg, Virginia. Our company was launched after learning from the challenges faced by our previous business, Automotive Koncepts & Designs Inc. That business struggled due to too many partners and poor management. To avoid those issues, we focused our new venture on Ae

rospace Technology and Engineering for Motorsports. At AKDBuilt, we know our success depends on our customers' satisfaction. We gained early recognition for creating the world's first All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system for unibody vehicles, which we successfully prototyped in 2016 for Honda and Acura models. This project involved designing a bolt-on structure that converted front-wheel-drive Acura vehicles to AWD using parts designed for racing. Currently, we have developed high-performance axle kits inspired by Porsche. These kits fit various engine conversions and drivetrain setups for brands like Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, Honda, Acura, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Lexus, Infiniti, and Tesla. AKDBuilt is about more than just products; we aim to push the limits of what's possible in automotive performance. We also manufacture production electronics and Standalone Engine Management Systems (EMS). This has allowed us to enter the 10th and 11th-generation Honda market successfully. Our Engine Management Systems have helped in creating custom transmissions and led to the development of the world’s first AWD Honda Civic Type R. We have partnered with industry leaders such as Hasport, Delacruz Motorsports, and Wanted Performance, showing our strong commitment to innovation and excellence.

The last of the V2 Elite AWD Trailing Arms are in. Eight complete sets are now ready for configuration and assembly.

This weekend we will begin final assembly by installing the ladder adjusters, chromoly spherical heim joints, misalignment spacers, lock nuts, bearings, hubs, snap rings, and toe adjuster isolators. The first sets are being prepared to equip my GS-R and ITR, with two additional sets going out for customer inspection and installation.

This delivery marks an important milestone following the AKD Built merger and our new partnership under BlackSite Motorsports LLC. Seeing this design move from development into full production is a big step forward for what we’re building together.

Originally engineered as an AKDBuilt design, the V2 Elite AWD Trailing Arm now becomes one of the first products delivered through our new partnership. With production now being handled locally, we have the ability to manufacture these components in-house with greater speed, consistency, and reliability. This also opens the door for expanded variations, including compatible subframe configurations for faster deployment and installation.

We’re excited to see the reaction once these assemblies are installed and put to work. This is just the beginning of what’s coming to the BlackSite Motorsports product catalog.

Another viscous, coupler, rebuild and plate internal system is ready to leave.This kit is designed to completely revitalize an RT4WD viscous coupler and allow for ultimate performance over its original internal components. A complete rebuild kit brings the coupler to a zero miles rebuild offering components that completely replace its internal pieces that are thirty plus years old with components that are brand new and made of better materials with the original bearings.

These kits feature: 79 * total plates, 38 * centering rings, 2 * retaining rings for the shaft, an oil seal, 2 * quad rings, and 2 * NTN bearings fir the upper and lower shaft and lid. Battle tested these plates and centering rings have seen well over 1800hp and have shown very good results over OEM promoting stable power transfer often giving the feeling of 60k while using 45k cSt viscous fluids due to the tighter tolorances. Time to bleed out some air from the system! Lift is wired and electrically ready to kick some tires! Time to bleed air out of the system and run through a multitude of tests for the lift before she can be certified for use! Can't wait to get the week started and get my installers over here to certify this lift for full service!
