Wilmette Eagles Tackle Football Wilmette Eagles Tackle Football is a product of the Wilmette Park District in Wilmette, IL.

Our program is for children in grades 4-5 (House League) and grades 6-8 (Travel League).

Eagle parents, players, and coaches the 2013 banquets are this week at Wilmette Junior High School Cafeteria and Auditorium starting at 6pm.

Tuesday, Oct. 29 House League
Wednesday, Oct. 30 Travel League

Players arrive in the WJHS cafeteria at 6pm for a pizza dinner and then parents can meet them in the auditorium at 7pm for the team awards. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Another great Eagle season has come to an end. Great job by our 3 teams on Sunday at Niles West. Our 6th grade midweights beat Deerfield, lightweights beat Evanston, and the heavyweights lost a close one to Winnetka. All in all it was a great season. We are looking forward to seeing everyone back next year.

Slight change in the gametime for Sundays Lightweight game. The lightweights will now be playing at 10:00am vs. Evanston #2 at Niles West.

Good luck to all our Eagles teams in their final games of the 2013 season. Please remember to come to the WPD van after your game on Sunday to turn in your helmet and shoulder pads.

Saturday Basketball registration is open for all children boys and girls in grades 4-8. Players in grades 4-6 play in teams by school affiliation. Plese see page 60 in our Leisure Time Guide for more information.
