One of the most common tech questions we see regarding Gen 3 Coyote Intake Manifold is how to cleanly manage the cluster of factory vacuum and IMRC ports on the back of the 2018+ intake manifold once the factory emissions equipment is deleted. Relying on universal parts-store assortments usually results in dry-rotting, cracking, and inevitable vacuum leaks down the line.

Barret Turner of Turners Automotive just proved what’s possible under pressure. He took a classic '55 Chevy Wagon and gave it a modern heart transplant: a Gen 1 5.0L Coyote paired with a 6R80 transmission.

Why the 28-day sprint? Barret was gunning for the Hot Rod Tour of Texas, where he successfully tackled 500+ miles of Texas backroads alongside 250 fellow enthusiasts.

What started its life out as a humble Ecoboost 4cyl has evolved into a 4 digit power producing Turbocharged Coyote street machine. This Mustang is super clean and lays down 1475rwhp with 1050 lbft of torque. Todd has built himself one impressive street car. All that power is being managed by a 6R80 with Billet internal upgrades and our transmission cooler setup. Check out the rest of th mods below:
