Team founders Sara Lowell and Dawn Gibson research and investigate possible paranormal phenomena with the help of their investigators Summer Best, Joanna Burdine, and Julian Carroll
HOW IT ALL BEGAN:
Starting in February of 2012, Sara and Dawn began a tradition of traveling to Gettysburg, PA. During their first road trip, they stayed at The Tillie Pierce House as well as The Farnsworth Inn. They have had experiences of their own at The Tillie Pierce House including footsteps, marbles rolling on the floor, and a beam of light scrolling across the foot of the bed. It was during this trip they also ventured to Sach's Bridge - known for paranormal activity such as the sounds of soldiers on foot and horse running through the woods. Sara and Dawn have connected with the Gettysburg Paranormal Association for a Ghost Hunt in which they were able to investigate the Hoffman Mansion. There they were trained the proper use of paranormal equipment and what it detects. June 2012 the girls made their second journey to Gettysburg, again staying at the Tillie Pierce House. During this trip, and prepared with their own equipment, they investigated Devil's Den - a site known for the brutal slaughter of soldiers during the Gettysburg Battle. Typically a day time "staged haunted attraction", at night becomes a site for great activity and one of the most haunted in the area. The S&D Paranormal team Travels to Gettysburg, PA every 4 months. In between trips they are scouting local locations for paranormal activity in an attempt to investigate and build a team. The S&D Paranormal Society is a Non-Profit Organization and is very dedicated to their research.
