Looking to offload my Omax Protomax Waterjet. Purchased new in June of 2022 for $30k. Very low hours and in great condition. This is a very capable little waterjet that is easy to run and can cut almost any material that fits in a 1” x 12” x 12” envelope.

I’ve used it to cut steel, titanium, stainless, etc. The machine is on wheels and can be moved by one person.

Looking to scale back a bit so I’m selling one of my mills. Comes with the HRT160 and the Chick Workholding tombstone. Renishaw probe and tool setter, high speed machining, chip auger, programmable coolant and high intensity lighting.

This is getting old. Belts broke on the compressor, again. This time they decided to take out the plastic sight glass for the compressor oil, causing it to completely drain. Luckily I happened to walk into the shop minutes after it happened.

I did find that the pulleys are very slightly out of alignment. Hopefully correcting that will increase the life of these stupid things.

Owning a machine shop is fun.

I love the look of a fresh set of soft jaws.

I unfortunately had a part pull out of the old jaws which ended up destroying them. This ultimately halted production of Winning and Merica safety razors while we waited for a new set to arrive.

The new jaws are now machined and back into production. Time to play catch-up.

Continuing to grind through safety razor orders, trying to get that backlog taken care of.

I’m still alive over here. It’s been a minute since I’ve posted to social media, but I honestly just needed a mental break from it. It’s been a rough first quarter of 2024 with plenty of delays that were outside of our control, and it seems like we’re behind on everything.

I recently closed all of the BYOR, BYOB and BYOC so that we can work on getting caught up.

We’ve shipped almost two thirds of the Ti Winning orders and we continue to ship a few every day, so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel there.

A blunt start or Higbee eliminates the first half thread and was made popular with fire hose fittings. Higbee’s greatly reduce the chance of cross-threading.

Let me know in the comments.

I’m debating on opening up a pre-order for Stainless Winning Safety Razors. This should alleviate the frustration of missing out on drops, and it would help out our international customers as I typically stock razors while they’re sleeping.

My hope is that it would take care of this large initial demand, making it easier for us to keep them in stock going forward.

The wait time wouldn’t be nearly as long on the Ti pre-order. We would start making and shipping them right away, alongside of the Ti versions.

I don’t typically like pre-orders as they’re stressful on my end, but I’m thinking this one would be pretty straightforward.
