Construction Safety Week 2026: "All In Together" - Recognize. Respond. Respect.

This year's Construction Safety Week theme is a reminder that safety starts with awareness, action, and respect for every person and every role involved in the work. For our new Inside Sales & Service Specialist team, that mindset is also part of onboarding.

As they visit each of Haydon's four sites, they're spending time with the people, processes, and products behind the customer experience. It's an opportunity to better understand how safety, quality, production, logistics, and service all connect before a product ever reaches the jobsite.

Investing in people means giving them context, not just training. And when our teams understand the work more deeply, they're better equipped to support our customers, our partners, and each other. Prioritizing health and safety as a core value is not separate from the work, it is embedded as a foundation of how the work gets done.

Haydon has completed UL-certified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for six core H-STRUT® metal framing profiles manufactured at our Stockton, CA facility.

The UL EPD Certified Mark indicates that UL Solutions has independently reviewed and certified the manufacturer's environmental impact disclosure that constitutes the EPD.

The certified declarations cover H-132, H-164, H-112, H-122, H-134, and H-172, providing facility-specific, cradle-to-gate environmental impact data to support specification, procurement, LEED documentation, and embodied carbon analysis.

As environmental reporting expectations continue to evolve across commercial and infrastructure projects, we remain committed to equipping our partners with credible, third-party verified data.

This week, we're recognizing Women in Construction (WIC) Week, led by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), and the women who keep the industry moving.

At Haydon, women contribute across the business: in plants and offices, in engineering, finance, sales, marketing, quality, operations, and more. As NAWIC members, we're grateful for organizations like NAWIC that create community, visibility, and support for women building their careers in construction.

We're proud to work alongside women at Haydon, within our rep and distribution partners, and across the trades. Their perspectives and expertise make projects safer, smarter, and stronger. There's still more work to do as an industry, but weeks like this are a good reminder to listen, learn, and keep making space for more women to thrive in construction.

After updating our H-BLOCK® Standard Blocks last year, we're extending the same high-visibility end cap design across the rest of the H-Block family.

This enhancement makes H-Blocks easier to spot on the roof while maintaining the same performance, material specs, and load ratings you rely on. And they're still manufactured in the USA using 100% recycled rubber. Whether it's a fast-paced install or servicing existing infrastructure, these visibility upgrades help support safer, more efficient jobsites.

H-Block Mini and Mega blocks with high-visibility end caps are expected to begin shipping in March (minis) and May 2026 (megas) as current inventory sells through.
