Hey everyone- it's been awhile...no festivals this year, thankfully we live in a beautiful place! We have a sweet new food truck ride, and we are going to be serving up Dumplings in several ways ( Maple-Bacon-Chile!) along with Vt. Corn Dogs and Buddha Rice Bowls down behind the Sweet Spot by the covered bridge in Waitsfield, Tuesday, 7/14 from around 4 p till we get tired or the food runs out. All our love to everyone out there, stay strong, be smart and come see us down by the river!

Hey friends and fam- we're winding our season down now, working on some projects for next year (BIG new truck!) and savoring the fleeting beauty and delight that is fall in Vermont. Thanks so very, very much to all of you that came out on the road with us this year- the love and sense of fun that we all enjoy out there couldn't even begin to happen without your support.
Since I last posted, we have had a bumpin' good time , joined our MRV community in pausing to honor the 5 beautiful young people taken from us a year ago.... and done what we do at the Stowe Craft Fair....
Again- thanks and respect to all of our community, the fantastic crew that gets it done every weekend, all our food trucker compadres out there....and most of all- everybody who waits patiently to be fed each weekend- we love you guys!

Fall in the air, life on the road...we just got back from a typically fantastic weekend Freshgrass Festival down in North Adams, Ma.
Great music, old friends, even some Mad River Valley visitors.....and we got to vend next to our buddies The Mad Taco! Thanks to the super helpful staff MASS MoCA, you guys always get it done in style. Next up- SIPtemberfest 2017 at our old stomping grounds Mad River Glen....we can't wait- frosties and foliage, anyone?

Yeah, Valley People- we're going down to the River tonight for the Round Up...as always cold beer, live music, lots of tasty food from us and our food trucker pals...and a return to duty for our buddy Eric "Auntie Girt" Mackey!!! Yes, even a head-on, high speed collision with a maple tree can only keep our boy down for so long.
Come say hi to Eric and enjoy a beautiful afternoon and evening by our lovely river.

Yo Mad River Valley- ready for a Round Up? So are we! We'll be livin' in a van (or trailer) down by the river tomorrow, special menu and possible special guest appearances ...who can tell what might happen? Bacon-crusted Corn Dogs, Triple Threat Rice and Dumplings of all descriptions WILL happen. Hope to see you!

Wow, I guess we'd forgotten how beautiful the Burlington waterfront can be....5 nights and 4 days at the Lake Champlain Maritime Festival and Twiddle Tumble Down just reminded us what a gem we have in our backyard. We had a frickin blast with our buds from the Frends Crew, thanks for being so chill. And what a rush to see Phil Lesh- yes that Phil Lesh- show up on the stage Tumble Down!
Lake Champlain Maritime Festival bookended Tumble Down and brought lots of incredibly beautiful wooden boats to our big lake- none more beautiful than the tiny pocket schooner Wind Lass. If there's a more gorgeous boat that's 19' at the waterline, I ain't seen it!
We're pointing the wagons south for one of the funnerest events on our calendar- Hops in the Hills 2017 at Okemo. If you're kicking around the Ludlow area, come by for a beer and a bite.
