For those of you interested in the entire story behind our camper we’re starting a build thread on . I plan to chronicle the entire story of this first prototype camper starting from the idea’s conception for those interested to know just exactly what it’s taken for us to get where we are! We’ll also talk about where we plan to go from here.

It will take me some time to chronicle the entire story so check back regularly and you’ll see updates every couple days for a while! Find the thread in our link in bio.

~2024~ What a year! My wife and I have a tradition of looking back on our camera rolls at the end of each year to reminisce and remember how God has led us through the year. This year not only did we succeed in building our first prototype camper (what a journey that’s been) but we also successfully welcomed our baby girl in November!

God has been so good to us and we feel beyond blessed to be walking the path He’s leading us down. May each of your feel the same as we enter a new year! Love you all! ❤️

We’re still here! After over two years of research and development we’re ready to announce our latest project. We’ve been busy in the Haven Overland shop working on developing the lightest (and best looking, we might add) full featured truck camper available for the Tacoma. More info to come, but here’s a few key features to count on.

✅ 100% vacuum infused carbon fiber (no fiberglass here)
✅ Bed replacement camper (save weight, ditch the bed)
✅ Torsion isolating subframe mounting system (get off-road, stay flexy)
✅ Fully insulated (ready for all four season)
✅ Pop up lid (plenty of room for activities)
✅ and MUCH more to be announced.

There’s three outdoor shower options on this van. As you can see in the photo there’s a shower mixer with quick connect hose plugin at the rear of the van. There’s also a similar mixer at the sliding door location. AND for those extra quick rinse offs swing the kitchen faucet 180 degrees and point it right out the door! Easy peezy!

Details…

We love the way these control panels turned out. In previous vans I’ve felt constrained to placing all controls in one central location. On this van I decided it didn’t make sense so controls were placed with ease of access and ease of wiring in mind. The layout is this:

Driver side: Inverter controller, battery monitor, water heater timer switch, passenger side under cabinet light dimmer switch, usb outlet and ac outlet.

Passenger side: Front, rear, and under cabinet light dimmer switches, heater controller, water pump switch, usb outlet, ac outlet.

All the functionality without the bulk of a large control panel.
