As the temperatures begin to cool, here are some recommendations and important tips for your lawn:

1. Extra moisture and cooler nights would allow for large patch disease conditions. Reduce watering to 1 day per week to help prevent lawn disease.

2. Raise the mowing height by 1/2 an inch. Leave it this high until spring as this extra length in the turf will help allow it to store up carbohydrates for the winter.

As always, please call or text us at 229-300-8086 if you have any questions. Enjoy your weekend!

We are seeing ALOT of armyworm damage right now. It can happen in any grass in our region but we are seeing the most damage in St. Augustine lawns. PLEASE let us know ASAP if you see any brown areas, moths, excessive birds, etc in your lawn. These insects can cause severe injury or death to your lawn. 229-300-8086
