Higher Ground Autoworx Bmw Audi VW repair Higher Ground Autoworx, Inc. opened its doors May 2013. The first location was on 5th street in South Lake Tahoe, California. in 2013.

In a little over a year, the shop moved to a bigger, nicer facility to better serve our clients. John Meo started his career working on hot rods at the age of 19, doing both mechanical and auto body work. He fell in love with the mechanical side of things and honed his skills over the next 7 years learning how to fine tune BMWs & Audis on the North Shore of Massachusetts. He moved to Tahoe in 2008

in search of extremely deep snow and found it. His love of Tahoe was only surpassed by the love of his daughter, born in 2012. John opened Higher Ground Autoworx, Inc. Today, Higher Ground strives to be South Lake Tahoe’s #1 choice for local BMW, Audi and VW service & repair.
