Climate zone 7. Just one step from being classified in the same zone as the arctic.

True North sits in northern Minnesota where temperatures can get to as low as single digits. This home features our A7 windows with triple pane glass, two low-e coatings reflect heat back toward inside while two argon cavities slow the cold air from coming in through the outside. The inside pane stays closer to room temperature that it would with double pane.

A warmer pane means no cold draft coming off the glass in winter, and less heat leaving the home through it. That’s what makes a wall of glass work in this extreme of a climate.

Built in Switzerland 🇨🇭. Crated for Minnesota.

The two air-lux sliding doors have one motorized panel, one fixed. Frames, profiles and drives left the factory built into timber crates and loaded straight into the sea container. The glass is triple pane, largest unit weighing 800lbs. The sill sits completely flush with the floor.

Sitting in the pines right above the lake this home features triple pane A7 windows, four doors from air-lux including two sliding doors + two pivot doors. From the great room the pines and lake fill the full height of the glass.
