We designed this blade for a group whose latest request called for a mid-sized blade with a stout tip for what they called "Mission Specific Applications." They requested the Res-C Mudder handle for its secure grip in both wet and dry environments. This model weighs only 6 ounces for ease of carry and features a black-coated blade for stealth and concealment. Here's some important info about the Alpha Chef 5.25.

These are ground extremely thin, down to approximately .010" thick at the edge prior to sharpening.

The thickness of 3 Post-it notes is .0125" thick, meaning that three Post-it notes are 20% thicker than this edge is prior to sharpening!

It's nice to know that if you ever dull it, there's a chance you'll never know it because of the excellent geometry of this blade!

The Alpha Chef 5.25 is solely designed to be a slicer and is not recommended for prying or throwing because the tip is scary thin!

Our Alpha Resiprene-C Handle design is everything you could hope for in a handle where maximum comfort and control are desired.

It is heavily rounded for comfort and is extremely ergonomic, providing a non-slip grip made from our softer Res-C material.
