Customer Car Show #27 | The Cherokee Princess

Some classics carry more than automotive history, they carry generations of family memories.

This beautiful 1960 Ford Thunderbird is about 90 percent original, with its numbers matching engine and transmission. It first belonged to the owner’s father, and when her parents were newly married, they were driven around town in this very car.

After her mother passed away in 2020, her father passed the Thunderbird down to her. A few minor repairs helped bring it back to the road, where it belongs.

The car was named The Cherokee Princess in honor of her mother and her family’s Cherokee heritage in North Carolina. Today, the family proudly shows it nearly every weekend, keeping both the car and its special story alive.

We are honored to feature this treasured Thunderbird as Customer Car Show #27. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ride and family history with us!
