Here is Unicoi Volunteer Fire & Rescue's Pierce Commercial Pumper on a Freightliner Chassis. Unicoi VFD provides fire prevention and protection, as well as rescue services to approximately 60 square-miles of territory with a population of about 6,000 residents, from one fire station located in the heart of town. What a week for Ponderosa Fire Department! 🚒

Three new Pierce Pumpers are officially through final inspection, and we couldn’t be more excited to see these rigs make their way home to the Houston area.

There’s nothing quite like that feeling of seeing a new apparatus come together and knowing it’s about to become part of their community, answering calls, running the streets, and serving people when it matters most.

You can always spot a department that takes pride in its rigs. These two new PUCs were clearly the stars of the evening, and we can’t blame them. There’s nothing quite like seeing a new truck in the bay, knowing it’s built to serve your crew and community for years to come.
