I want to let everyone know that I am planning on being at the LaSalle speedway and event center with my parts trailer for this weekends race.. Sunoco fuel, Hoosier tires and parts will be on hand. Please share and thank you in advance. Mike Vallow
Friday & Saturday, August 14 & 15, the MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends returns to the LaSalle Speedway & Event Center for the Illinois Valley Showdown presented by Action Truck Parts Inc.!
Friday, August 14, features the Twisted Twin 25's for the MARS Late Models. On lap 25 of the feature event, the checkered flag will fly, and up to the top 6 cars will be inverted. An additional 25 laps will then be ran. Each 25-lap segment will pay $5,000-to-win and a total of $600 to start the pair of 25-lappers. The four highest point earners between the two features will start on the pole of the heat races on Saturday evening.
Saturday, August 15, will feature a 66-lap MARS Model Championship feature paying $20,000-to-win and $1,200-to-start!
