Today's tip is... price isn't everything; quality is. Just because something is cheaper does not mean it is better. Especially when it comes to reclaimed barn wood, it's usually safe to say you get what you pay for.

Today's tip is... Don't go too thin with live edge slabs. Why? If the wood is freshly cut and you opt for something a bit too thin, it is more likely that the wood will warp or twist.

When you're making a decision about live edge slabs, don't go too thin! When you go too thin, it is much more likely to warp, bow, twist.
