Sometimes art and industry's paths will cross. This wave lamp was designed by William Claypool in Palm Springs (all rights reserved). He gave me permission to use the image. The waves are waterjet cut stainless steel sheet. Waterjetting does not produce the heat that plasma and laser cutters do. That helps prevent the sheet from warping during cutting. The contours were measured and matched to originals by Warlock Industrial for the CNC cutting.

The frame is going to be changed from a flat-bottom to a V-type bottom. That will save a little material and give us more swing. Everything is guesses until we start buying parts. Then, we will modify as they are acquired. I started laying out the rear suspension and noticed a major issue that needs to be addressed. I'm still not sure the axle will work for this vehicle. We'll see...
