GMS STEEL Manufacture, located In Azle/Springtown Tx is seeking experienced PROJECT MANAGERS. We specialize in commercial projects such as Hotels, schools, medical facilities, select stores and public buildings.

Experience:
Commercial Construction 6 years min,
Project Manager 6 years min,
Estimating 6 years min,
Responsibilities include:
-Plan, direct and coordinate projects to ensure on-time completions within budget
-Evaluate drawings and specifications to determine requirements necessary for project success;
- Inspect work in progress to ensure conformity to specifications and schedules,
-Project positive attitude while establishing effective professional relationships:
-Forecast deficiencies and unrealistic expectations while identifying solutions,
-Create and maintain fluid and effective project schedules,
-Communicate and work closely with customers, vendors and installers
- Assist and work with engineering, purchasing and production teams, Proactively handle project issues and/or risks
-Manage budgets, manpower, expenses and costs to complete.
- Issue and negotiate requests for information and change orders.
-Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
-Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
-Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
-Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
-Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
-Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
Requirements:
- Excellent attendance and punctuality history.
- Minimum (6) years min. preferably 8, of relevant experience in commercial construction;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Experience in managing projects from
$200 K to $2 M;
- Knowledge of Design of architectural specialties, installation methods and materials;
- Aptitude for mathematics;
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
- Must be willing to move to the DFW, Texas area;
- Critical thinker and problem solver,
- Team player with focused attention to detail.
