💥S-10 4.3 V6 High-Performance Replacement Mount Kit for 1988–2004 S-10 Trucks & Blazers💥

Why You Might Need This Kit. The stock S10 4.3 V6 engine mounts can fail in performance applications, allowing the headers to hit the frame, the engine to hit the hood, or the fan to damage the fan shroud. The mounts in JTR's kit prevent such problems but are soft enough to limit vibration and noise for street-driven vehicle use.

Don't Let Your Current Mounts Fail (or Fail Again). The stock S10 4.3 V6 engine mounts use large, soft rubber isolators to reduce engine vibrations that go into the cab of the S10 trucks. The soft rubber isolators are not well suited for performance applications because they allow too much engine movement, which can lead to problems with headers contacting the frame and the steering shaft, as well as axle hop problems.

Because the stock 4.3 V6 mounts are made from rubber bonded to steel, the mounts often fail when the rubber tears away from the steel, allowing the engine to contact the hood. The fan can also contact the fan shroud, damaging the fan and shroud.
