3D scanners are a huge boon to productivity. Here's a raw scan of the back of a CAT 906H. Trying to reverse engineer this the old fashioned way would have involved either bringing the machine to our shop, or lugging the laptop to the machine and then hours of measuring and drawing, and remeasuring and adjusting. This way we can just scan with a portable device quickly and then insert into a CAD package and then work around it. We'd like to thank Kraft Auction Service in Walkerton for allowing our designer to scan a few of the machines they have.

We just picked up a our new 3d scanner to aid in reverse engineering existing objects and make designing parts MUCH easier.

The picture is a scan of a 2024+ Chevy ZR2 Colorado Bison Edition inner fender, and the rendering is the resulting mud flap hanger derived from the scan.

We are now manufacturing tool carrier trays and carry all baskets for the rear of Case / New Holland and John Deere compact wheel loaders. The tray or basket easily clicks into the mounting bracket (sold separately) that bolts easily to the back of the loader. The tray or basket can be quickly installed, changed or removed with out tools. We manufacture these at our Westville, IN facility. Check out our website for other innovative products.
