It’s wild how much wear and damage metal skids take on a mulching head running in the woods. This one had already been repaired multiple times—and the base layer was in rough shape with serious cracks and wear.
What i did is:
✔️ Repaired structural damage and cracks on the base
✔️ Built it back up and overlaid an additional 1/2” of steel on the skid plates
✔️ Got the customer back up and running FAST
