Tired of replacing that fairly new bagless vacuum again? Well bagless sounds like a good idea but is it really? The answer is no. Regardless of what you pay for one, they are all the same. Each has a main filter that prevents dirt from escaping but rather falls into a canister. The problem that they all share is, the main filter continues to load up with dirt, reducing air flow. Not all of the dirt falls into the canister. As airflow is being reduces, less dirt is being picked up by the vacuum. A bagged vacuum never looses airflow even when the bag is full. The reason is, the bag on most bagged vacuums has a chamber at the top of the bag where the air is released but at the same time, dirt is being collected at the bottom of the bag. A good quality bagged vacuum that's been serviced when needed, will last up to 15 years.
