Once this foundation was piered and stabilized, Basement Systems of New York provided the client a complete value add carbon fiber solution. Since the foundation had vertical cracks in multiple locations, including localized crack repair with 12" bidirectional in addition to global strengthening with 6" unidirectional all the broken ties were reinforced. A cement parge coat was added after the installation to conceal the carbon with the existing foundation and provide a protective UV barrier.
