Does your carbureted rig not feel like it used to? Sometimes they just need a little love. Thorough cleaning, adjustment and rebuild plus a timing curve and setting check goes a long way. This ol holley is in for some maintenance from a winter nap so it can keep on cruising!

It's always important to check parts. Just because they are new doesn't mean they are always 100%. This could have turned into an intermittent misfire very easily.

Yes! We work on the classics too!
From internal engine work, drivetrain, or electrical!
Carburetors too! We can rebuild and tune. Including phasing and adjusting advance curves for distributors as well.

With the "throw away" mentality in the industry nowadays sometimes its more conducive to purchase whole units with a warranty instead of fixing what's there. It's an unfortunate reality. In the end it saves the customer money and us time.

36 years wasn't nice to this Holset. After a good cleaning and tolerance check, she's good to live again. Exhaust side oil control ring showed excessive wear along with the bushings.

Consistent oil changes, less idle time and letting the engine run for a few minutes after working it hard helps to prevent unnecessary wear such as this.

The fact that the conversion kit adapter plate for the 12v to the GM 4L80E doesn't have a provision for the cummins barring tool, seems like an oversight.

So the supplier says they sell a "tool" that uses the harmonic balancer bolts. Seems cool, until we realized the tool bolts TO the balancer/crank. Access is already going to be tight enough and fighting 4 balancer bolts off and re-torquing back on isn't going to be all that much fun.

So, we made our own. It uses the crankshaft pilot snout to center up, and encapsulates the heads of the bolts for easy use, requiring ZERO disassembly.

If you'd like one built, let us know. If there's enough demand we will work on pricing and gear up for materials.

Step 2. 4.88 re-gear, ARB air locker, custom GM knuckles on a jeep housing with high steer conversion.

Now to clock the outboard ends for proper pinion and caster angle once we weld up perches to fit the toyota Tacoma it's going into.
