Hand Crafted Shack Tube Lights

Hand Crafted Shack Tube Lights Recycling old Radio Tubes into hand crafted "Shack Lights" Tubes are "Etched" with your Ham Call sign. Lighted with colored LEDs Strictly a Hobby Craft page!

I began crafting Shack Tube Lights in the fall of 2015 when somehow I ended up with a box full of old radio tubes. I wanted one for my new Ham Radio License Call Sign. A good friend stopped by and loved it. So, I began one for him. Then another and another. This good friend got hold of some bigger tubes, the Eimac 3500z tubes took off. A huge WWII NAVAL transmitter tube was my Christmas Vacation project. Sell some I was told. Well here they are going as fast as I can find the tubes. Others sending me tubes to make theirs for them. As long as I can get the tubes, Well, here they are.

General information

Using old Recycled Radio Tubes/ Amplifier Tubes, I etch your FCC assigned Ham Radio License number into the glass of the tube with media blasting. Then make a nice varnished wooden base and mount the tube to it. I install your choice of colors, LED lights into the base so it reflects up into the tube high lighting the etched letters. All wired for 13.8 volts DC, the same as a radio power supply output. Felt on the bottom so no scratching to your expensive equipment.
