At the County of San Joaquin, CA Be Well Campus topping out ceremony, Herrick brought together project partners and community members to celebrate an important construction milestone.

As the first structure of a multi-building complex, this marks meaningful progress toward expanded wellness and care resources for the region. We are proud to contribute our steel expertise to a facility that will have a lasting impact on the community.

Last week, we celebrated the topping out of El Camino Health’s Wing J in Mountain View, marking a major milestone for the project and for everyone who helped bring it to life.
From the sparks flying on the steel to the final signed beam lifted into place, this moment reflects the hard work, partnership, and pride of the ironworkers, project teams, and partners who made it possible.

On Friday, The Herrick Corporation had the honor of hosting WiOPS (Women in Construction Operations) for a memorable afternoon at our Stockton Steel Shop!

Guests got a behind-the-scenes look at our fabrication process, including a live burn table demonstration, where we engraved the WiOPS logo in steel. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase technology, precision, and teamwork that drive what we do every day.

We ended the day with a fun photo op inspired by the iconic “Lunch atop a Skyscraper”. Don’t worry, no one was actually that high up!

A huge thank-you to WiOPS and everyone who joined us for making the event such a success. Collaboration, inclusion, and innovation are what keep our industry strong—and it was inspiring to celebrate that together.
