Dawson Machine Shop is in need of a general machinist.
We offer competitive wages, , simple IRA, uniforms, vacation, and paid holidays after 90 days.
Work hours are 7:00am-3:30pm M-TH and 7:00-1:30 F
Applicant must be knowledgeable on manual lathes, mills and grinders. Conversational CNC type programming is a plus. Applicant must be able to read blueprints. Also needs to be able to read and use micrometers, calipers, depth gauges and dial indicators. Must be able to think for themselves, keep a clean work area and have some of their own tools and toolbox.
Starting pay is based off of experience and type of machining done in the past.
