Jesus Himself Chose the Cross - March 5, 2026

God has penned a list of our faults. The list God has made, however, cannot be deciphered. The mistakes are covered. The sins hidden. “He has forgiven you all your sins: he has utterly wiped out the written evidence…and has completely annulled it by nailing it to the cross” (Colossians 2:14 Phillips).
He knew the price of those sins was death. He knew the source of those sins was you, and since he couldn’t bear the thought of eternity without you, he chose the nails.
The verdict behind the death was not decided by jealous Jews. With a flex of the biceps, Jesus could have resisted. No. Jesus himself chose the nails. He knew that the purpose of the nail was to place your sins where they could be hidden by his sacrifice—nailed to the cross, covered by his blood.

Sherbert's Trim Shop will be resuming regular business hours tomorrow, Wednesday Oct. 2, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

FYI: As of today, Sunday Sept. 29, Sherbert's Trim Shop is still without power.
Obviously, this means, we will be closed until power is restored... hopefully 🤞this week.

Sherbert's Trim Shop now accepts credit/debit cards!! If you pay by card, there will be a 4% service charge added. If your invoice total is $200 & you pay by card, your grand total will be $208. ($200 × 4% = $208)

This is a little later than what I was expecting, BUT, I believe we can still make this a success!
If you would like to help us help kids, which I know you do, just bring a new, unwrapped toy & drop it in the drop box OR you can make a donation in person or via PayPal or Cashapp & we'll do the shopping for you.

Our Toys for Tots campaign has kicked off with Sherbert's Trim Shop. It will run from Nov. 8, 2022- Dec.9, 2022. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy (or make a monetary donation & we'll do the shopping for you) and help us make a child's Christmas a little merrier this year!
