IVEX Promotes Amy Glover to VP of Customer Service

We are excited to announce the promotion of Amy Glover to the position of VP of Customer Service for Ivex Protective Packaging.

Amy joined our team in 2017 and has since played an important part of many of our daily business functions including her most recent title, General Manager. Amy has demonstrated clear leadership in her prior roles, and we feel she is well suited to tackle this new position.

We as a company feel this change will help our organization to better focus on preserving and optimizing the growth that is required to facilitate the ultimate customer experience.

Amy’s initial focus will be in Sidney, OH, over time, developing her reach to include working with our Mexico and Canada teams. We are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for both Amy and our team at Ivex!

The Extrusion Operator sets up and operates the machinery in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and customer requirements. The operator adjusts machines and documents all work performed.

Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation.
Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment at the end of the week to ensure machines are producing according to company and industry regulations and standards, making adjustments as needed.
Work with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise.
Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions, and take care of them as they come up.
Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components.
Choose and install cutters, molds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:

Must have machine operation experience
Moderate understanding of extrusion process
Previous extrusion experience recommended
High school diploma or its equivalent
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Able to read measurements
