I’m making my curl bars with the original straight, 1” heavy knurled handles again. I know there are collectors out there so, I’m going to start an auction to buy the first straight handled bar in 30 years. This will have a vintage bar from the early 90’s with the Patent stamp. The handle straps were made then as well. The rest of the bar has new parts. I’ll post a picture of the bar in a few days but the pictures show the grip being knurled and one of the finished handles. When I had been married for 11 years, I took a job that required me to shave my beard. I had my wife and daughter watch so it wouldn’t be a shock for them. That was the first time I felt my wife kiss my cheek and my daughter’s small hands touching my face….

I have never had a full beard since then.

These 2 vintage bars are up for bids. They would both normally sell for $500 each but these are special. The chrome bar is the last chrome bar ever. Chroming is no longer an option because of cost and all my old chrome shops have closed. This bar was chrome plated in 1999.

The black oxide bar will be the only one made that has the visible grip welds. All “new” black oxide bars will have the invisible grip welds on the handles.

These bars and parts were all made in the 1990’s. The only new parts are the handle bearings and the Olympic sleeves.
