At Ascent Fab, we can assist you with fully developing your product or idea and prepare it for production through additive manufacturing. Anita Martin at Innovative Equine is one of the amazing individuals we have had the pleasure of working with, who came to us with an idea and we helped her turn it into a full digital workflow.
Anita has a passion for helping horses feel extremely comfortable with their saddle fit and teaches their owners how to spot when a saddle doesn’t quite fit right. To assist their owners in picking out the right saddle to fit their specific back shape, Anita takes a 3D scan of the horse’s back, Ascent Fab does the design work for a custom impression, and then we 3D print the impression on our MD-1000D. This impression is then used to fit the best saddle to the horse, without the need to bring the horse to the tack shop. It can also be used for a custom saddle tree if the horse so requires it - like the last horse in this string of pictures!
