Fire Brush We are artists of motion. the wick is our brush, the fire is our paint, the space is our canvas. Fire Brush is built within a paradigm of cooperation.

Fire Brush is a collaboration of fire artists, prop makers, teachers, performers, and any other practitioners and enthusiasts of the fire dancing culture. We have come here to help share our love of fire dance, provide people with tools of creative expression, and to make the world a more interesting place. Our belief is that by coming together as creative, cooperating individuals, we can accompli

sh more then any of us could as independently. Fire Brush is a platform for us to meet on. A place we can pool our resources. Those of us currently involved make equipment, teach, and perform. If you have a skill or resource you want to add to Fire Brush, contact us and we will figure out how you can be integrated. We always welcome new participants.

ahhh, yellow wicks. we just got a batch of knitted aramid rope (same stuff that kevlar is made from) that will turn into props soon. this stuff is a slightly thinner and less expensive alternative to the trademarked kevlar rope

wick size: 4cm wide by 21cm long (2.5in by 8.5in)
material: 0.9 cm knitted aramid rope (just under 3/8in)
staff diameter: 3/4 inch aluminum (1.9cm)
total length: 1.54 meter (5 feet)
total dry weight: 633 grams (1.4lb)
