An update on the wagon build: the other day I got the axle arms I planned to use and the frame together and that sent me down a rabbit hole. As much as I wanted to use the stock jl arms and frame mounts I couldn’t. The idea of using the tons I had also crossed my mind but they don’t match the plan for the build to be useful every day. So I made the dot make my own arms and mounts. Made a call to and .4wd and have some parts on the way plan is to 3 link it front and rear it should sit about 3” lift when done on 33’s. I gotta meet up with and get a Chevy 4 speed to put behind the 6.2l Chevy diesel I got from she’s gonna be more Chevy than will Willy’s when done but the goal is a daily driver family explorer.

I love the lines on this rig! Can’t wait to get the jk frame under it with the Chevy 1/2T axles and the 6.2 Chevy diesel...

A clean fab table is a thing of beauty. I don’t have any fancy fab tables but this table here has had hundreds of bumpers on it since I built it many moons ago. At this point I don’t think I could ever scrap it. I think it would just get repurposed someday. But now it’s time to get it dirty again 😂

Tire carrier arm 3.0 done. No room for a table behind it like v1 had with v2 I left room for it but didn’t install it. With the bike carrier I needed to make it tighter because I didn’t want to run the hitch extension with 5-6 bikes and that heavy carrier.

Phone camera was set to 🥔 so it took this gem of a photo! Took the family to baldy hoping to show the little man his first snow day and well there wasn’t much snow even hidden between trees and rocks. We’ll make another trip up later in the season.

We’re back up and running. I’ll take the old pump apart at some point. I put the same style quick connections as my tube bender so in a pinch I’ll have another way to run either ram. I’ll probably make an adapter for the porta power while I’m in the mind set so I can use the pump for that as well.
