Scania operates in some 100 countries and has 51,000 employees. Of these approximately 3,000 work with research and development – mainly in Sweden, close to the company’s production units. In celebration of , we’re proud to see Scania V8 power making waves in the Pacific Northwest. 🚢

Boatbuilder Mavrik Marine in La Conner, Washington has launched the Emerald Clipper, a new 103-foot high-speed aluminum whale-watching catamaran built for Seattle-based excursion operator FRS Clipper.

This vessel is powered by FOUR Scania DI16 V8 engines, each producing 800 hp. Designed to cruise at 32 knots with a range of 340 nautical miles, bringing speed, reliability, and efficiency to passenger operations.
