Last Friday, we celebrated Marskmen General Contractors CEO, Mark Baublit, for being named Blood Cancer United's 2026 South Texas Visionary of the Year. This is an honor that carries the weight of something deeply personal.

Over the last 10 weeks through his leadership, faith, and unwavering commitment to honoring his father's legacy, Mark led Team Baublit Strong in raising over $376,000 for Blood Cancer United, an organization built on one vision: a world without blood cancers. Every dollar raised goes toward funding cutting-edge research, supporting patients and families navigating a diagnosis, and accelerating the path to a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

But this journey was never about a title. It was about standing with families facing some of life's toughest battles. It was about creating hope where it's needed most. And it was about proving that when a community comes together with purpose and compassion, extraordinary things happen.

We are incredibly proud of Mark and grateful to every donor, supporter, volunteer, and partner who joined us in this mission. Together, we are helping fund breakthroughs, support patients, and move closer to a world without blood cancer.

This honor belongs to all of us, and most importantly, to the families whose lives will be impacted by the work we continue to do.

What an incredible day!

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our clay shoot fundraiser benefiting Blood Cancer United. Your support, generosity, and enthusiasm helped make the event a tremendous success.

This cause is especially meaningful to us here at Marksmen as Mark's father courageously battled blood cancer. Seeing our community come together to honor that journey and support others facing similar challenges made the day even more special.

We are grateful to all of our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for helping us make a difference. We couldn't have done it without you.

A huge shoutout to our amazing team members, Sandy De La Pena and Vidal Arteaga, who represented Marksmen in yesterday’s Corporate Cup pickleball tournament!

As retired tennis players, they know what it takes to compete, and they brought the same work ethic they show every day at Marksmen onto the court. It was a tough competition, but they showed up, hustled, and represented Marksmen with pride.

The real win? Getting to cheer these two on. Well done Sandy and Vidal, we’re proud of you! 🙌

May golf league took place out at Brackenridge Golf Course with a record turnout.

40 people showed up, making it the largest group yet. Great mix of competition and time with the team and partners. Looking forward to the next one!

We brought lunch out to Southwest ISD Kriewald Road School of the Arts as they head into their final week of the school year. It was a simple way to show appreciation for everything these teachers pour into their students all year. As they finish strong, our team is getting ready to step in and get to work this summer!
