He is Risen.

Take time to spend with your family and friends today and most importantly the one who died to save you. Rejoice and celebrate, but don’t underestimate the severity of the situation. As a society we have become desensitized to the cross. We’ve made this day about hiding Easter eggs or taking pictures with a rabbit when in reality Jesus went through hell on earth to take your place on the cross. Our sins nailed Him to the cross, but His love for us kept Him there. By His stripes we are healed.
