Haven’t posted much lately but here are some update pictures on the Grand National build that’s been going on behind the scenes, this one started as a frame and now has a 5.3l aluminum block fitted with some goodies and topped with a Magnuson TVS2300 blower and backed by a TREMEC TR6060hd manual trans. Holley HP is controlling the engine and flex fueling capabilities and the 12.3” pro dash is installed in place of the factory cluster with a CRUZ Performance mount.

The coolest part of the build is the fact that the TR6060 is still factory hydraulic clutch using all oem components and a custom slave mount to make it all work!

Looking forward to hearing this fire up soon!

Stock Never Allows Fun Ultimately

Upgraded this customer from stock control arms to some Team Z Motorsports double adjustable lowers and relocated uppers and added an Anti Roll Bar. They are now ready to put that power to the ground!

Well folks this ones a wrap, and I think the smile on this gentleman’s face says it all!

Here is a small recap of what was done:
-8.50 cert chromoly cage install
-Swing out door bar on drivers side
-Full custom 3” stainless dual exhaust with H-pipe
-Complete rewire with new chassis harness (all factory switches and lights work including trunk release and gas door pop)
-Holley Terminator X install with a Holley Pro-Dash
-Complete cooling system plumbing
-Custom carpet and interior
-Basic chassis set up and pinion angle adjustment
-Hood cut out to clear Holley Hi-Ram

These new weld tags are pretty awesome! Picked up a few new tools to be able to make them fit the pipes perfectly as well!

Something a lil different in the shop today, had the pleasure of making some quick block off plates for the side muffler delete on this beautiful Porsche GT3RS and also finished up a harness repair on a 1966 Ford Mustang today.

The harness for the ‘66 mustang was a brand new CJ pony parts harness that was all sorts of messed up out of the box, when you hooked up the battery the parking lights would turn on, when you tried to turn on the headlights on it would turn on the blower motor and had no head lights at all, after stripping it all down the problems where pretty easy to spot. Entire harness was bench tested and wrapped in Tessa under dash soft tape and ready to go back to the customer.

Gotta love how well these Team Z Motorsports 8.50 cert cages fit! High and tight like they should be! This one also got a swing out door bar on the drivers side as it will see some street miles as well.

Now that the cage is wrapped up we will be getting it certified next week, then onto building exhaust, building the intake and wiring the complete car and Holley EFI install!

After years of doing this out of my garage we finally have an official Buisness address and a space to keep building these bad ass cars! It may be small but it’s to keep the focus on one project at a time. Stay tuned for update pictures on this build as we finish up the Team Z Motorsports 8.50 certified cage, wire up the Holley EFI system, build a custom exhaust and intake system and do some basic chassis set up for this customer!
