New Shars UI Coolant Thru Thread Milling Tool Holders and 3/4" Milling Cutter Head are now in stock!

Designed for UI inserts (sold separately), these indexable tools use inserts with 3 cutting edges, enabling a high feed per tooth. The single-point insert design also helps reduce load on cutting edges compared to multi-tooth threading inserts, making these tools an excellent choice for efficient internal thread milling.

Available in 4 holder sizes with 1 or 2 flute options, plus a 3/4" screw-in milling cutter head.

Here's a look at Part 2 of our Boring Head video, where we used a Shars 2" boring head to machine two different-sized holes, requiring both vertical and horizontal setups.

For the horizontal setup, we machined a Shars SCLC left hand boring bar in order to fit it down into the hole. We also used a Shars Co-Axial Center Indicator to center the workpiece.
