While FABTECH 2020 was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, plans are underway to bring FABTECH 2021 to Chicago in 2021. That means North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event will be heading to McCormick Place Sept. 13-16, 2021.

FABTECH provides a convenient “one-stop shop” venue where you can meet with world-class suppliers, see the latest industry products and developments, find the tools to improve productivity, and increase profits, while McCormick Place is the premier convention facility in North America.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Travel to customer sites to perform service and preventive maintenance
• Performs new machine installation, commissioning and customer training
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and communicate effectively with customers
• Ensures customer satisfaction through high quality service levels, prompt ex*****on and customer follow up
• Acts in a professional, courteous and business-like manner to enhance the company in the market place
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
• Service work is local, minimal overnight stays needed

• A minimum of a High School education is required
• A minimum of 5 years working with mechanical equipment
• Understanding of Hand Tools and mechanical techniques
• Computer Literate
• Ability to read Schematics, Diagrams and Technical manuals
• Must be able to function well, in an unsupervised position
• Must have a valid driver license
• Must be able to discuss technically complex issues with non-technical persons
• Good organizational skills, particularly on site, are critical
