This small equipment trailer was in need of a new tongue, coupler, and jack installed. Removed the bent/warped tongue, installed a new one constructed of a heavier gauge 2”x 2” angle, added a piece of 2”x 2”x 1/8” square tube down the center for extra support. Prepped and welded the new 2” coupler, and prepped and welded a new trailer jack onto the tongue of the trailer. Then finally finishing it off with a coat of gloss black.

Was able to help my buddy at J&J Towing and Recycling swap out this 2-5/16” trailer coupler and new tilt locks on his dump trailer. Removed the previous coupler, prepped and welded the new coupler implementing some solid 5/16” welds, and assisted the installation of a new electric trailer jack. Needing to sell any junk cars or needing a tow, be sure to give Joey a call and he’ll take care of it for you.

Had the guys down at Catawba Fence Company LLC. give me a call about their Ford F-350 dually equipped with a Norstar flatbed that had a load bearing failure while hauling a skid steer and materials on their tandem axle equipment trailer. Immediately got to work by straightening the rear section of the hitch area, found as many stress points as possible, welded and reinforced them all to get these guys back on the road as quickly and safely as possible.

Had my super good friend and loyal customer of mine at Carolina Cookwood give me a shout about a cracked end cap on a hydraulic cylinder that needed to be repaired. About 2” of topical cracking and about 5” of sub-topical cracking underneath. Disassembled, located the start and finish of the crack, drilled, ground, welded the damaged area and finished off with a coat of black paint to get his equipment back up and running in a quick timely fashion.

Was able to help Carolina Roofing Pros, LLC with their dump trailer that sustained some stress cracks at some pretty important and critical locations of the trailer. Ground all cracks out, re-welded, and added some doubler plates in to help out with the strenuous use of the trailer. Great company to call if you’re needing anything from general repairs to a completely new roof. Glad to be able to help these guys out.

Here’s a small glimpse of one of the current projects going on in the shop. Taking care of fabbing up some table carts for a boxing series based here locally in Rock Hill, SC. Going to be building four of these and will also be building four chair carts. These table carts will be able to transport approximately 15+ tables per cart with a carrying capacity of 1,000lbs. Next on the list be will chair carts capable of carrying 80-90 chairs. All assemblies will be prepped and coated with a gloss black.

Knocked out this hearth plate for Bobby Henson that he was needing for a renovation that he’s working on. This unit was constructed of 3/16” steel plate, 1-1/2” flat bar trim around the front face, and finished off with a coat of matte black paint.

Made a trip down to Carolina Cookwood to make some repairs and modifications on both of their processors, Caterpillar Loader, and Tumbler. Both processors suffered trough damage that was affecting efficiency and production. Fabricated a safety plate for the electrical and hydraulic lines near the E-Stop on the control panel. Added fork tubes and bracing underneath the Tumbler to allow for safe and efficient transportation of the equipment. Then finally made a few minor repairs to the Caterpillar Loader.

Finally able to get around to posting a few recent jobs, knocked out this Bobcat grapple repair for C**t Clendenin with Southeastern Tree Service. This one took major distortion to the grapple jaw, broken welds at pin bore, and broken cylinder. New cylinder, prepped and welded pin bore, straightened grapple jaw, and finished off with a coat of black paint.
