This is a hand forged rounding hammer that I made in my shop in Rochester NY.
I am a professional blacksmith with a primary focus on toolmaking.
This rounding hammer has a 1 3/4lb head forged from new 1045 steel. I carve my own handles from local Missouri hickory, and I used cherry wood for the wedge.
Every aspect is made by me.

Vintage Little Giant 50 LB Power Hammer.
Has Robbins & Myers motor. Motor operates 220 volts, single phase, 60 cycle. Sits on wood base.
Hammer Has been refurbished. In excellent working condition.
Motor has been gone over by local electric motor shop in excellent condition.
I’m Modern horsepower rating would be closer to 6-8 horsepower.
Has custom made shelf to hold tooling.

16 Ton Hydraulic press from coal iron works. Comes with two sets of dyes, combo dye and squaring dye. Shelves welded on the outside to store the dyes is the only modification made. Works perfectly. Used mainly to make Damascus but I don’t use it enough to keep it around. Plugs in to a normal wall outlet. Weighs around 900 lbs. Doesn’t need a foundation and comes with 4 casters.Shipping/ pick up available. is my 1.5 year old forging press. 16 ton hydraulic press from coal iron works.
